HULL AND DECK
- Solid FRP hand laminated with molded internal hull grid. Deck and house (single molding) with structural coring as required.
TANKAGE
- Water tanks are FRP with gel-coated inner surfaces. Fuel tanks are welded mild steel or optional molded FRP with gel-coated inner surfaces.
HELM STATIONS
- Dual stations (Pilothouse and flying bridge) with full engine instruments and Morese mechanical engine controls.
FRESH WATER SYSTEM
- A pressurized freshwater system utilizing a 12 volt automatic pump, 8 U.S. Gal water heater fitted with both electric element and heat exchanger and polybutyl heat/cold resistant piping comprise the water system. An auxiliary galley foot pump is also provided.
WASTE WATER SYSTEM
- An automatic electric bilge and a manually-switched shower sump pump discharge waste/bilge water directly overboard. A manual bilge pump is also fitted. Washbasins and galley sink drain directly overboard. A toilet holding tank with both deck pump-out fitting and gravity waterline drain are standard items.
OPERATIONAL EQUIPMENT
- International navigational lights, a trumpet type horn and electric windshield wipers are fitted as standard items.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
- The Eagle 40' has both a 12 volt D.C. battery system and a 120 V.A.C. system for shore power or a genset option. (U.K. and European boats come with 220 V wiring). A main circuit breaker panel with amp and volt meters for both A.C. and D.C. systems and a master battery switch are installed in the pilothouse. Two 120 AH heavy duty 12 volt lead-acid batteries are provided. Cabin lighting is 12 V.D.C. with bulkhead and dome lights fitted throughout interior spaces.
VENTILATION AND ACCESS
- There are eight large alloy framed opening windows in the deck/pilothouse. Additional alloy framed fixed glass windows provide a bright interior and excellent outward vision. Additionally, there are six opening ports in the forward cabin trunk sides, providing light and air to the forward living quarters. The forward cabin trunk is also fitted with one large and two smaller deck hatches, giving this area generous amounts of light and air. A deck hatch is also fitted over the saloon/cockpit doorway. Sliding doors are fitted P & S on the pilothouse and a hinged door is provided aft for access between saloon and cockpit.
MASTER STATEROOM / 2-CABIN MODEL
- The Master S/R is located forward of the pilothouse at the end of the passageway accessing the forward living area. A double berth is to port with a hanging locker and dresser to starboard. A hatch through the forward bulkhead provides access to the chain locker. The sole is carpeted: overhead and ceiling liners are off-white FRP; lockers and trim are varnished teak. Berths are vinyl covered, although optional fabrics are available. Two opening ports and a deck hatch provide light and air.
GUEST STATEROOM
- The Guest S/R is located aft of the Master S/R and to the port of the forward passage. A convertible settee provides upper/lower single berth accommodations, as needed. Hanging locker and dresser are provided. The sole is carpeted: overhead and ceiling liners are off-white FRP; lockers and trim are varnished teak. Berths are vinyl covered, although optional fabrics are available. Two opening ports and a deck hatch provide light and air.
WASHROOM
- The washroom is located to starboard off the forward passage. There are two access doors, one from the Master S/R and one from the passage. A full stall shower, washbasin and manual marine toilet are provided. Thc sole is non-skid finished FRP and the bulkheads, ceiling liners and overheads are off-white FRP for ease in cleaning.

MASTER STATEROOM / SINGLE CABIN MODEL
- The Master S/R is located forward with an island double berth located on the centerllne. A hanging locker with drawers are provided to the port side along with the separate shower stall. The washroom is located to the port side with mirror and medicine cabinet.
PILOTHOUSE
- The pilothouse is the vessel's control center. Full instrumentation, engine controls, a large overhead console for electronics and a stainless steel wheel give a commanding feeling. Eleven windows provide excellent visibility while P & S sliding doors allow instant deck access. The sole is teak with holly inlay and all paneling is done in varnished teak. The settee cum off-watch berth makes an ideal crew lounge underway or anchored.
DECKHOUSE/SALOON
- The deckhouse comprises the inside living/recreation area and includes a superb U-shaped galley and livlng room-size saloon. The standard arrangement provides P & S settees, but an optional cabinet is available in lieu of the port settee at no additional cost. The sole is teak with holly inlay: lockers and trim are varnished teak: the ceiling liners are off-white; and the overhead is of off-white sound dampening vinyl with teak trim. Four alloy framed windows and two fixed windows provide excellent light, air and visibility. A full hinged door gives access to the cockpit aft.
COCKPIT
- The non-skid deck sets off the large cockpit. There is ample space for deck chair lounging, fishing, barbecuing or other open-air activities on board the Eagle. A deck hatch provides access for gear stowage and maintenance under the cockpit.
MAIN DECK
- The main deck finish is non-skid texture with laid teak available as an option. Inner bulwarks are off white molded FRP.
BOAT DECK/UPPER HELM
- The upper helm is the vessel's secondary control station. Full instrumentation, engine controls and a bench-type double helmseat with locker beneath are provided. A non-glare, non-skid finish adds to the practicality of this area. A molded FRP weather coaming and full stainless steel double rails provide the comfort and safety factor required on an off-shore vessel. Additional stainless and teak bench seating is available as an option. Space is available to stow a dinghy and optional teak chocks are available.
